We fell in love through art and creating things together, so it only feels right that what we do for a living is creating things in the name of love! Nothing gives us more joy than capturing someone else's story and creating something timeless out of it, something tangible that you can frame on your wall and show all your loved ones. To get to do this for you is an honor and a gift for us. We specialize in Weddings and Elopements but also welcome the opportunity to do Engagement, Couples, and Maternity photos. Hello! I'm Kim, the girl who enjoys being behind the camera! I'm a mother and wife with a passion for capturing life's precious moments through photography. My journey into the world of photography began with a desire to document the moments and memories that are so often fleeting. Having missed the opportunity to capture maternity photos and lacking family portraits to look back on, I realized the immense value of preserving these special moments for myself and others.
My journey into photography was born out of a longing to create tangible memories that would last a lifetime. With a background in interior design, art classes, and picture framing, I developed a keen eye for composition, color, and detail. However, it wasn't until I enrolled in a photography course that I truly found my passion for capturing life through the lens of a camera.
What I love most about photography is its ability to freeze moments in time, allowing us to revisit them again and again. Whether it's the joyous expressions on a child's face, the tender embrace of loved ones, or the quiet beauty of nature, I find immense joy in documenting these pieces of history from our private lives. There's something magical about capturing the genuine reactions of people as they laugh, play, and express their love for one another.
For me, photography is more than just a hobby; it's a way of storytelling. Each photograph is a chapter in the larger narrative of our lives, and I strive to capture the authenticity and emotion of each moment I photograph. I'm Dany, a wedding photographer fueled by a love for storytelling and a passion for capturing life's most intimate moments. My journey into photography began unexpectedly when my parents decided to invest in a "nice" camera for family photos. Little did I know this simple decision would ignite a lifelong passion and set me on a path toward documenting the beauty and joy of weddings.
My journey into the world of photography started with the purchase of a Nikon D5600. From the moment I held it in my hands, I knew I had found my calling. Each click of the shutter felt like capturing a piece of time, freezing moments that would otherwise slip away. As I delved deeper into the art of photography, I became enamored with understanding the intricacies of lighting, composition, and storytelling. Today, I find immense joy in preserving the most intimate moments of someone's most special day—their wedding day.
One of the greatest blessings of my photography journey is the opportunity to work alongside my wife. Together, we share a deep love for creativity and collaboration. Partnering with her not only enhances our work but also allows us to nurture each other's creative vision and grow together as artists. It's a partnership built on love, trust, and a shared passion for storytelling through imagery.
If I were to label my photography style, it would lean toward photojournalism. I thrive on capturing candid moments as they unfold naturally, allowing the true emotions of the day to shine through. However, I also enjoy guiding and enhancing these moments to create a beautifully curated story of the day. Black and white photography holds a special place in my heart as it strips away the distractions and focuses solely on the raw emotion of the moment. Additionally, I'm drawn to a natural, timeless look with just a subtle pop of color, ensuring that each photo remains authentic and true to the moment it captures.

At CMStudios, we aim to capture your beautiful moments and create unforgettable memories! We are located in Mebane, NC, and do most weddings out of the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill Areas. As well as Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point areas. We are open to travel and await the opportunity to meet with you!
